Frida Kahlo is a fascinating study because of her fascinating life. Frida was not born an artist. She became an artist. At 6 years old she was diagnosed with Polio. Then in 1925 she was in a terrible accident and had to endure years of recovery and a lifetime of pain. It was during this time that she began a journey into the world of painting and journaling. During these 4 classes, you will learn about the personal and professional experiences of Frida Kahlo, complete a mixed-media journal using leather and other materials you will treasure for a lifetime.

hand-spinning. You will spend two days dyeing and spinning in ways that emphasize the quality and character of the animal
Natalie is a well known figure in the fashion industry and internationally respected as a shepherdess. She has used her expertise and knowledge to develop revolutionary techniques in processing and dying of protein fibers.
