Our first adventure begins with Frida Kahlo.

Frida Kahlo is our first artist to study because of her fascinating life. Frida was not born an artist. She became an artist. At 6 years old she was diagnosed with Polio. Then in 1925 she was in a terrible accident and had to endure years of recovery and a lifetime of pain. It was during this time that she began a journey into the world of painting and journaling.
Frida Kahlo Class: 16 hours total
Each class is 4 hours (5 – 9pm) Tuesdays – May 24th, 31st, June 7th, 14th
During
these 4 classes, you will learn bout the personal and professional experiences of Frida Kahlo, complete a mixed-media journal in her style
and paint a portrait of this famous artist.
